Bringing the sound of Scotland to East Anglia and beyond....

From its beginning with two pipers and a drummer in 1978, The City of Norwich Pipe Band has grown into a thriving, colourful and popular band that performs throughout East Anglia and at a variety of events both in the United Kingdom and Europe.
These range from the Lord Mayor's Procession in Norwich and major events at Alexandra Palace, Somerset House and The Grosvenor House Hotel in London, to folk festivals in France, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Hungary and Spain.

The band has also appeared on television, most notably accompanying a semi-finalist on ITV's "X Factor" and also alongside many military and civilian bands including the Royal Gurkha Rifles, the Coldstream Guards, the Royal Irish Regiment, the Irish Guards, the Parachute Regiment, RAF College and RAF Regiment Bands and Cawston Band.

The band was closely associated with RAF Coltishall and had the honour of taking part in many station functions including the moving closure ceremony in 2006 when the band led the parade of RAF personnel out of the main gate for the last time to the strains of Auld Lang Syne.
The band supports The Royal British Legion.
